I can help you with:
Sudden death of a loved one
Sudden divorce and separation
Sudden redundancy
Many people think I do what I do because of what we have faced as a family in the past 15 years. However, the truth is that in 2005 I made a huge decision to leave a successful career in nursing and midwifery behind and follow a new path of personal coaching.
I quickly found myself helping people navigate life after difficult and in some cases traumatic life change. I provide a safe, comfortable space to allow you to feel supported and able to somehow cope after sudden bereavement and loss.
It is always an honour and a privilege to work with people at what can be one of the most difficult times in their lives and something I never take for granted.
If you go to my website and read some of the blogs including 'Nigel' you will get a taste of what we have experienced as a family. A client once said to me 'never underestimate how much your lived experience helps us on our journey'.
My most recent gift book, The Grief Garden Path, is featured by The Good Grief Trust and recommended by psychotherapists, funeral directors and celebrants as a useful resource for anyone who has lost someone they love and need to feel it's comfort, practical support, understanding and hope.
It's a heartfelt book told from clinical nursing, personal recovery and lived experience that sit alongside stories and golden nuggets of wisdom from real people who are a long way down their paths of grief.
A recent testimonial from Mum of a teenage son killed at work aged just 20 said: "Reading your amazing gift book has made me realise what I am going through is completely normal."
